Why We Dream

Some dreams disappear before breakfast. Others stay with us for years. A strange house. A familiar face. A conversation that never happened. A place you’ve never visited that somehow feels like home.

Dreams have fascinated people for thousands of years. Some cultures believed they carried messages. Others believed they revealed hidden fears. Some saw them as inspiration. Others saw them as mystery.

I don’t pretend to know which explanation is correct. What I do know is this: Dreams have inspired stories, inventions, paintings, discoveries, and ideas that changed the world.

Keeping a dream journal isn’t about predicting the future. It’s about paying attention. To your imagination. To your creativity. To the quiet thoughts that only seem to speak while the rest of the world is asleep.

Tomorrow morning… Write down the first thing you remember. You might only recall a color. Or a feeling. Or a single sentence. That’s enough.

Every story begins somewhere.

Sometimes…

It begins in a dream.
