Everyone Has a Superpower

Ask someone to picture a superhero. The might imagine a cape abd fllying. Other common responses are laser vision or super strength.

Nature has a different idea. Goats climb cliffs that seem impossible. Sea turtles cross entire oceans and somehow return to the very beach where their lives began. Owls can hunt in near darkness. Beavers reshape rivers. Octopuses solve problems that would challenge many people.

Their superpowers aren’t magic. They’re simply the incredible abilities they’ve developed to survive and thrive.

We’re not so different. Your superpower may not be flying, but it might be kindness, creativity, patience, or curiosity. It could be the ability to make someone laugh on a difficult day, helping a friend, or never giving up.

The world needs all kinds of heroes. The trick is discovering what makes you uniquely you. That’s one of the reasons I created Animal Heroes.

Not just to teach children that animals have amazing abilities. But to remind every reader that they have one too.

So here’s today’s challenge. Ask yourself one simple question.

What’s my superpower?

You might be surprised by the answer.
